The exact cost varies school to school based on the number of games, average attendance and other features such as media offered, but we offer four sponsorship levels built to fit your budget and your marketing needs.
The media that each sponsor gets is determined by their sponsorship level. Even at the least expensive levels, sponsors will have their static ads shown dozens of times per game. At the higher levels of sponsorship, sponsors may have the chance to run full-motion videos with sound (commercials) at halftime or as the game allows. Title Sponsors may have the ability to run more experience-based promotions (along with all their scoreboard ads) such as parking a pickup truck behind the end zone, doing a tee-shirt cannon, sponsoring a Student of the Month or having a vendor table at the gate.
We work with the school’s Athletic Director and coaching staff to determine the home calendars for each sport played using the videoboards, as well as average attendance at each of those sports, and finally how many times each ad type is shown per game. All of that gives us the total estimated impressions per year, which is often more than 1 million at the lowest sponsorship levels and 2-3 million or more at the higher levels.
Yes, you can change your ads as often as you’d like. Some sponsors will change their ads for the season or the sport or based on changes in their own business (a new interest rate to promote, etc.) There is no charge to change ad copy and we can usually have the ads changed out on the boards within 24 hours of receiving them from the sponsor.
Scoreboard Media will provide all sponsors with specs, samples and even design templates for all ad types included in their sponsorship. We have a design team that can create ads for you free of charge if needed.
